Mr. Raatjes and his 3rd hour Advanced Art students took advantage of some beautiful weather today to gain some experience with observational drawing outdoors.

Over 100 Knight Freshmen attended our premier "Tech Talk" that introduced Microsoft Office 365, and other technology tools, and how to use them. This three hour seminar had three 20 minute large group sections and then students "went to work" in break out sessions. Great start!

In almost 70 years of LWC Track & Field history, our 2024 3200 meter relay team raced to history as they became the first 3200 relay team to earn All-State medals with their new school record of 7:44.51 5th place finish out of 42 State qualifying teams.
Our Knights broke the 1981 school record of 7:53.9 only two weeks ago at Sectionals to qualify to State, then broke it again in the prelims on Friday by four seconds to qualify to finals and then again today in the finals by five seconds for the new record and State medals!
Thanks for all your support!

Today in Mrs. Korczak’s English 1 Honors class, students held a trial for Antigone. The students did a wonderful job using text evidence and persuasive skills to convince the jury of Antigone’s innocence or guilt in defying the laws of Thebes.
