The LIFE skills class took a trip to the New Lenox Commons to do a storybook walk and see all of the Holiday decorations and lights! We followed our trip with lunch at McDonald’s! 🎄🎅🏼🍟

FBLA hosted a blood drive at the Village of New Lenox tonight and had an outstanding turnout! We doubled our goal and had over 30 donations which will save almost 100 lives!
Artwork by 30 Central students is currently on display in the annual High School Art Exhibit at the Vogt Visual Arts Center in Tinley Park (17420 67th Ct.). The show will be on display until November 28th. Please consult the Vogt Visual Art Center website for their hours.
Spanish classes celebrated Día de Los Muertos by creating various art projects, watching Coco, and trying authentic Mexican food, like pan de muerto!
Today, eight students from LWC were inducted into the Société Honoraire de Français (French Honor Society). These students have worked hard to earn high grades and have committed to community service as well as to pursuing the Seal of Biliteracy.
On Saturday, members of the International Club visited the National Museum of Mexican Art in Pilsen to see the annual Día de los Muertos exhibit.
Congratulations to LWC students Annalise Popow, Autumn Cooper, Megan Moy, Kylie Koehler, and Alia Muhammad for having their artwork chosen for the Joliet Junior College Area High School Art Exhibition. The students' artwork will be on display at JJC's Laura A. Sprague Art Gallery in Building J from Nov. 6th -- Dec. 8th.
