Students in the A&P medical program were invited to Ascension St. Joe’s in Joliet for the Barna Brain Breakfast! Named in honor of a former stroke care coordinator, this annual event reviews recent stroke cases from EMS, the emergency department, ICU, neurology, and therapy. Attendees learned about six cases and their positive outcomes. St. Joe’s is the only dedicated stroke center in Region 7, alongside Advocate Christ. #LeadTheWay

Kylie Ludwig, Celest Reiling, and Sophia Mikolajczak all ran personal best times and placed in the top 35 to pace the team.
