Students in Mrs. Hilbert's College Writing class are using the collaboration space to create group synthesis projects. They are developing their skills in writing arguments, creating effective visual aides, and speaking with confidence. College Writing is a dual credit class in which students can earn 6 hours of college credit from JJC. #LeadTheWay

It’s great seeing our students take proactive steps toward success, with over 70 juniors attending yesterday’s Science ACT prep session with Mr. Lodes! Juniors will continue to have the opportunity to attend sessions on Tuesdays leading up to the ACT. #LeadTheWay

Today, students visited Governor’s State University for the SWSC Visual Arts Festival, where they had the opportunity to see their artwork displayed in the gallery and collaborate with GSU art faculty. They also heard an inspiring presentation by Chuck Anderson, a Lincoln-Way graduate, who shared his incredible experiences and success as a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and creative director. A special congratulations to Sydney Pohlmann for winning the Best of School Award at today’s event for her stunning abstract acrylic painting! #LeadTheWay

We’d like to congratulate our very own Reese Rourke, named Softball Player of the Year, and Lincoln-Way Central’s Bella Dimitrijevic, who earned Softball Pitcher of the Year honors from the Old Timers Baseball Association. These outstanding student-athletes from the Lincoln-Way district were recognized for their remarkable achievements during the 2024 season at last week’s 74th Annual Banquet. With over 600 tickets sold, the highly attended event also serves as a special occasion to honor local high school athletes for their exceptional accomplishments. #LeadTheWay

AP Stats in action! Dr. Matty & Ms. Ruettiger recently led a fun lesson where students tested the proportion of people who could correctly guess the color of a Skittle by taste! Students collected data, shared results, calculated probabilities, and performed a statistical test to determine the true proportion of correct guesses. The Skittles and hands-on approach made learning even more fun! #LeadTheWay
