Mrs. Baya-Mirza, Mr. Piechocinski, and Mrs. Hilbert attended the national convention for the National Council of Teachers of English last week. This convention gives teachers the opportunity to network with other educators, learn about best practices and emerging teaching strategies, and gain inspiration from prominent figures in literature and education.

Warrior Way had the opportunity to hear from former leaders this morning at their meeting. Deven Bax, Class of 2015, and Kyle Ruettiger, Class of 2016, answered a number of questions and shared about their experiences after graduating from LWW.

The 2021 exhibition features work submitted by twelve area high schools. Each school selected up to five pieces of their best work to showcase in the annual event that is being held virtually this year. The show is currently live and will run through December 11.
Great job to the Speech team as they began their season by traveling to the Downers Grove South Novice Tournament this past Saturday! Freshman Kaleigh Buda placed first in Poetry.
The PPS Department hosted an application workshop on Friday during 2nd & 3rd hour with a representative from Joliet Junior College. Students were able ask questions and submit their application to JJC that day. Seniors are encouraged to contact PPS with questions about the college selection process as well as check the college/career Teams for updates.
