Each year, the senior class nominated four of their classmates who are making extraordinary contributions to their school or community. Called the Griffin Senior Standout, each of the four students receives a scholarship from Lincoln-Way East High School at scholarship night. The Senior Standout students are featured on an interactive mural in the Griffin's Lair. The mural includes a framed photos, along with a QR code that visitors can scan in order to watch a video that highlights each student.
