Students in our Co-Op program heard from a variety of local businesses at the employer expo this morning! After a brief presentation about their open positions, students were able to network, apply and even interview for jobs on the spot. Thank you to our local businesses for not only participating in our expo, but also for providing these unique employment opportunities to our students.

School is in full swing, and we are already learning so much! Using tumble buggies, Mr. Lodes’ students at East were able to create and interpret a distance-time graph representing the motion of the buggy. Great job!

Lincoln-Way students enrolled in the Freshman Start summer program got a great introduction to high school! During the program, Lincoln-Way teachers and staff presented on different electives and administrative departments. Each presenter gave an overview of their department and taught a lesson. The department overviews included a tour of the school, introduction to SSO, a lesson from PPS about stress management, and an overview from our School Resource officers.
Teachers taught lessons in art, music, business, wood working, reading, and foods. The students also completed volunteer hours needed for graduation at Feed My Starving Children.
Thank you to the LW staff members and incoming freshmen who participated this summer!
