Artworks

The annual Artworks Festival took place at Lincoln-Way East on March 15, showcasing more than 1,000 pieces of student artwork from across the Lincoln-Way area. The event featured contributions from students of all grade levels, representing 30 different schools.

Attendees had the chance to participate in hands-on art workshops, including pottery, scratch art, origami, painting, and jewelry making. These interactive sessions were led by Lincoln-Way art teachers and students, providing a fun and educational experience.

Local artists John Tylk and Ted Fuka gave live professional art demonstrations, while musical performances by the Lincoln-Way Youth Orchestra, the Lincoln-Way Youth Strings Chamber Ensemble, and Lincoln-Way guitar students were enjoyed by all.

The festival was a tremendous success, and we are grateful for the community’s support in celebrating the incredible talent of our local artists.
