It Shark Week at LWW! Mrs. Horn and Mrs. Prieto’s biology classes learned about the evolution of sharks. Students participated in a 2-day dissection activity to learn about the adaptations that have helped sharks survive the past 450 million years 🦈

Lincoln-Way West student, Caeley Doran, was selected as a winner of the most recent Chicago Sun-Times' student art contest. The Sun-Times asked students in Chicago and the suburbs to “spring ahead” and create something artistic with a forward-looking spring theme for the Chicago Sun-Times’ latest student art contest. Caeley's artwork features a very realistic colored pencil drawing of an egg cracking. Congratulations, Caeley!
The PE student leader class has been studying attitude while covering essential leadership qualities. Our student leaders participate in a number of team building games and practice leadership skills on a daily basis in their PE class.
