Warriors – It’s time to drive awareness, support, and research for pediatric cancer awareness! Lincoln-Way West is teaming up with Cal’s Angels to host our first ever Go Gold game this Friday when we host Naperville North in this week’s edition of Friday Night Lights.
Cal’s Angels is a pediatric cancer foundation with a mission of granting wishes, raising pediatric cancer awareness, and funding research to help kids fighting cancer. The Westside’s theme for the football game will be GOLDOUT. We have an inventory of gold t-shirts that can be purchased this week during the lunch hours. Be The Change members will have gold shirts available at a table in the cafeteria during all the lunch hours this week. You can purchase a shirt using the QR code for Venmo or Zelle. You’ll need to put Lincoln-Way West in the description and show the payment in order to pick up your shirt at the table.
There are also flyers around the school with an additional QR code if you want to make a donation to Cal’s Angels. We look forward to seeing the stadium Go Gold this Friday in order to foster a greater understanding and support for affected children and their families. Join us in spreading the word and making a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer!

Did you miss the annual Activity Fair earlier this month? As a reminder, a number of our clubs & activities are currently up and running for the 2024-2025 school year! Be sure to stop in at the Student Activities Office for more information if you missed the Activity Fair or if you have questions at any point throughout the school year. Students should also keep up with the information in the daily announcements to be aware of reminders and updates. We encourage all of our students to find a connection here at school and look forward to seeing what you Get Involved in this year. Make it happen, Warriors!
