Attention students! Need community service hours? The A&P class is hosting a blood drive this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at Lincoln-Way West. To participate, you must be at least 16 years old and bring your driver’s license. If you’re 16 and meet the weight requirements, stop by Mrs. Neuberg’s room (B230) to pick up a permission form. On Friday Mrs. Fortkamp and Mrs. Hilbert presented at the 18th Annual Celebrating Language Arts Institute Day hosted by Wheaton North High School. They shared ideas from their classrooms with other area educators about peer collaboration during the writing process. #LeadTheWay

While reading The Great Gatsby, students in Mrs. Baya-Mirza's English 3 classes explored how the American Dream has evolved over time. They analyzed Batmobile designs from various decades, identifying how each reflected the era’s values, events, and visions of success. To bring this idea to life, students created their own Batmobile from a specific decade, incorporating historical and cultural elements to represent that period’s version of the American Dream.

Good luck to our girls wrestling IHSA State qualifiers Sadie Sparks & Zoe Dempsey! Safe travels as they are on their way. We wish them the best Friday and Saturday. Congratulations for making it to State the first year as part of the inaugural L-Way girl’s wrestling team!

🔥 Attention Pickleball Players!  Important information for tonight’s tournament! 🔥 Make sure you review all tournament details posted on Microsoft Teams before tonight's competition. This will help keep us on track with all 64 teams participating.  Doors 7 and 8 will open tonight at 5:30 pm. All participants must be at the fieldhouse by 5:40 pm for the mandatory meeting.The meeting will start at 5:45 pm, and the first games will follow shortly after.  We look forward to seeing you tonight on the pickleball courts! #GetInvolved

Lincoln-Way's annual ArtWorks Festival is Saturday, March 15th at L-Way East from 10am--3pm. The public is invited to attend this event that will include a student art exhibit, musical performances, art demonstrations, and hands-on art activities for kids. The art exhibit will feature over 1,000 pieces of student artwork from 30 area schools and include work from all grade levels, kindergarten through high school. The combined LWC/LWW Festival Orchestra was delighted to be rehearsed by Northwestern University Chamber Orchestra director Harvey Felder. The students gained much insight into their repertoire from Mr. Felder and had a wonderful time!
