Lincoln-Way West AFJROTC Cadet Alivia Glas received the Sons of the American Revolution Foundation JROTC Outstanding Cadet Award at the state level!
This high school level award fosters the principle of “citizen soldier” as exemplified by the American Revolution’s Minuteman. Alivia was honored at a luncheon in Springfield, IL, and received a Silver Medallion, $1,000 award, and was presented with an engraved ceremonial sword as a further symbol of her success.
She will compete at the national level later this summer.
