Activity Name:
Science Club

Description:

The purpose of Science Club is to generate interest in science throughout the school with a variety of activities on and off campus. Science club meets approximately twice a month for short information meetings, and additional times and days in order to prepare for and carry out a variety of activities. Labs, field trips, alumni colloquiums, and the SWSC science competition are some examples of science club activities. All students are welcome to be involved in science club at any point of the school year for as much of a commitment they chose to make of the club. A point system is used to determine official membership which is based on the number of events and meetings attended by the student throughout the year.
