ACTIVITIES

Activity Name:
Black Student Union

Description:
The Black Student Union is an organization that advocates for the needs of minority students at LW. The BSU is open to all students at Lincoln-Way. During meetings we will discuss and explore students experiences at Lincoln-Way. We will discuss current events impacting our students lives. We will also discuss on ways to improve and understand their experience at LW. The BSU will serve as a liaison between minority students and the school.

The Black Student Union (BSU) at Lincoln-Way is an empowering organization focused on celebrating and uplifting our students. Open to everyone, BSU meetings are a space where students can share their experiences, discuss current events, and work together to make our school community stronger. We are committed to ensuring that every student feels recognized and valued as an essential part of Lincoln-Way. Through our collective efforts, the BSU seeks to inspire pride, purpose, and a sense of belonging in all who participate.

Black Student Union is a student led club created to allow club members a space to cultivate their leadership and interpersonal skills. Our first meeting is Tuesday, August 27th in the Griffins’ Lair at 2:45pm. Meetings will be once a month, held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays of each month in the Griffins’ Lair, unless stated otherwise.
