Special Education Department

The mission of Lincoln-Way Special Services is to create student-centered learning environments that allow students receiving special education services the opportunity to develop skills that will enable them to become lifelong learners. Our staff works to provide students and families with appropriate preparation to make a successful transition to post-secondary opportunities. 

As such, a variety of special education courses and programming are offered and will be determined by each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) team. Lincoln-Way offers a full continuum of special education support and related services. The District offers support in a manner consistent with keeping a student in their least restrictive environment.
