We offer our facilities for use to our citizens to walk and/or jog and swim. Information about these programs can be obtained by calling the schools.
We are proud to say the district has the lowest per-pupil expenditures for all high schools in the six counties in the Chicagoland area. In November, we learned that both Lincoln-Way East and Lincoln-Way Central scored in the top 6% of high schools in the state of Illinois for the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE). Lincoln-Way East ranks 33 and Lincoln-Way Central ranks 44 out of the 654 public high schools in the state. This put Lincoln-Way East in the upper 5% of all high schools in Illinois, and Central in the upper 6%. East and Central also rank first and second of high schools in Will County as well as in the southwestern suburbs in the SWSC conference.
High school enrollments for the 2008-2009 school year are as follows: Lincoln-Way Central - 3,124; Lincoln-Way East - 2,677; Lincoln-Way North - 1,341.
In the fall of 2009, Lincoln-Way West will open to about 1,000 Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors who live in District 210's portion of the Liberty Junior High boundaries in New Lenox. For an update on the construction project, please click here.
