L-W Central to offer students free practice ACT Friday, January 18, 2013
Do taking tests make you nervous? Lincoln-Way Central is offering a free opportunity for all juniors to take a retired ACT as a practice test before the actual day of testing.
This free retired ACT test will take place on Saturday, January 26 at Lincoln-Way Central High School beginning at 8:00 a.m.
"A light breakfast will be provided starting at 7:30 a.m. for students who wish to eat something before the practice test," noted Steve Provis, principal.
Provis continued, "Students will receive a printout of their scores the following week and can use the information to assess strengths and weaknesses in developing a plan of study for further testing."
Students can sign up in the PPS office starting Friday, January 18 through Thursday, January 24.
Lincoln-Way Central is also offering an opportunity for Workkeys and ACT on-line prep beginning on Wednesday, February 6 after school in the library. Workkeys and ACT online
Prep will continue each Wednesday after school until April 17.
