Lincoln-Way Foundation

2017 year-end summary

The mission of the Foundation is to creatively generate financial support with which to enrich and enhance the opportunities and educational experiences of Lincoln-Way High School District 210 students.

Since its inception in 1994, volunteer Foundation directors have embraced this mission and our community has responded with unparalleled generosity. As a result, the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation has awarded $4,229,281 to benefit the educational programs of the District. The Foundation is committed to serving our community by funding programs and donating items that touch the lives of as many students as possible.

Thank you to everyone who attended & made the 10/28/17 Dinner Gala, at the newly renovated Odyssey Country Club, a huge success. The night was filled with great friends, great food, & wonderful silent / live auction items. Thank you also to the donors, Foundation Partners and all the winning bidders present at the event & those online. The Foundation Board had 100% Board participation in their monetary gift of $2800, evidencing the Directors “walk the talk.” We appreciate the combined team effort of many in helping us creatively generate financial support to enrich educational opportunities/experiences at all Lincoln-Way High Schools.

The impact donation from the 2017 Dinner Gala raised $5670 for the Transition program to acquire much needed specialized furniture. Additional funds will allow the school to acquire over 100 Lenovo teaching devices & charging carts to move the schools one step closer to a digital, blended learning experience for all LW students. Also, the tax-deductible donation of each $125 Dinner Gala reservation is $64, so please consult your tax advisor for additional details.

Please save the date for the Lincoln-Way Foundation Half Marathon to be held on 4/22/18. Specific information on sponsorships, sign up & race information can be found at
