How You Can Help

The success of the Foundation is a reflection of the support of this community and dedication of our board of directors and volunteers. Several annual fundraising activities support the fundraising goals of the Foundation.

Cents For Kids
Cents for Kids is an employee payroll deduction program. Faculty and staff choose to support Lincoln-Way students by donating a set amount to the Foundation each pay period.

Commemorative Bricks offer individuals and businesses in the community an opportunity to create a lasting tribute at any Lincoln-Way school. Engraved plates, mounted to a wooden base grace the lobby walls in the Fine Arts Centers at all four schools. These bricks are offered through special campaigns with a limited time frame.

Dinner – Auction provides an evening of fun, friendship and fundraising. Everyone in the community is invited to join us on February 14, 2015, at the Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park. If you would like to make reservations, be a sponsor or donate an in-kind item for the silent or live auction, please contact us.

Dream Raffle - Win $100,000 and make your dreams come true! Tickets are $100 each, and include at least $100 in coupons from 12 local businesses. Other prizes include eight $1,000 cash prizes and exciting Early Bird prizes. Ticket sales begin in Spring 2014!

School Calendar is a “must-have” for Lincoln-Way families, and is offered online when you register your student or at schedule pick-up in August. Local businesses have discovered that placing an ad in the calendar is a cost-effective way to share their message with the families of over 7,000 Lincoln-Way students. Place your business ad in the calendar and connect with our Lincoln-Way families!

Partners of the Lincoln-Way Foundation enjoy unique donor benefits and demonstrate support of quality education in our community. Partner benefits include reservations to the dinner auction, ad space in the school calendar, Partner logo and ad rights, recognition plaque with a press release, listing on our website with a link to your business website, your business name included on an engraved plaque and prominently displayed in our four high school community rooms, and invitations to special recognition events.

In addition to our annual fundraising activities, the Foundation is always grateful to the individuals and businesses who take advantage of other giving options. There are even more ways to give.

Beyond monetary support, the Foundation depends on the generous spirit of those who share their time and talents as a Foundation volunteer. Volunteer Opportunities are as varied as individual interests. You may choose to share your time for a few hours on a specific task, or become involved as a committee member for one of our fundraising activities.

Not all of the available methods of giving could be included on this site, and not all of the tax ramifications of each form of gift could be explained. Check with your accountant or professional tax advisors for additional information on how these general rules apply to your situation.
