Lincoln-Way East Special Services to host spring plant sale
Friday, April 28, 2017

On the first three Saturdays in May, Lincoln-Way East students will host their annual spring plant sale. All proceeds from the sale will benefit House of Blooms, which is the Lincoln-Way East Special Services Pre-Vocational Program. The sales will be held from 8:00 a.m. – noon on May 6, May 13, and May 20.

Plants for sale include flowers such as zinnias, petunias, wave petunias, marigolds, celosia, coleus, snapdragons, salvia, spiderwort, geraniums, impatiens, and begonias.

Grape tomatoes, bush early girl tomatoes, garden salsa peppers, big bertha peppers, and golden bell peppers will also be available.

“This has been a wonderful learning experience for our students,” says Director of Special Services, Mary Harrison. “All their hard work has produced a greenhouse full of beautiful flowers!”
