Lincoln-Way East Music Boosters to host final Friday night fish fry
Wednesday, March 29, 2017

On Friday, April 7, 2017, Lincoln-Way East Music Boosters will host the fourth “Friday Night Fish Fry” at Lincoln-Way East High School; the previous fish fry events have seen great attendance from all ages. April 7 will be the final fish fry of the season, and will also be the final night for attendees to bid on Chicago Cubs tickets. The event will also feature a raffle.

Friday night fish fry events began at Lincoln-Way North in the 2008-2009 inaugural year, and have continued at Lincoln-Way East this season. The April 7 fish fry will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at 201 Colorado Avenue in Frankfort, Illinois.

Food is carefully prepared by the Music Boosters who generously donate their time to this great event.

The fish fry will feature the Lincoln-Way East Jazz Bands along with the Hickory Creek Middle School Jazz Band.

"The performances are what truly distinguish these fish fry events from any other,” says Music Department Chairman, Bert Johnson.

The menu includes fried fish, baked potatoes, French fries, coleslaw, apple sauce, grilled cheese, fresh bread, lemonade, and fruit punch. Soft drinks and bake sale items are available for additional purchase.

The cost for an adult to attend is $10.00. Tickets for children are $5.00 each. Guests are welcome to dine in or take advantage of the curbside carryout option. Orders for curbside carryout can be placed at the entrance to Lincoln-Way East, and will quickly be delivered to vehicles. All proceeds will benefit the Lincoln-Way East Music Department.
