Lincoln-Way Central Football hosts Middle School Clinic Wednesday, March 22, 2017
On Saturday, March 18, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., the Lincoln-Way Central Football Team hosted 40 middle school athletes in the field house for a football training camp.
“The Middle School Clinic is another opportunity to connect with the community. This is a great night for Future Knights, current players, and coaches,” said head coach of the Lincoln-Way Central Knights, Jeremy Cordell.
Cordell was joined by his fellow coaches along with current Knight football players to help the young participants enhance their speed development through training exercises. Sixth to eighth grade students received individual instruction for both offensive and defensive positions from the high schoolers and coaching staff.
"Serving at the middle school camp was about giving back to our community,” said junior offensive lineman, Nolan Nelson. “I had a lot of fun meeting and coaching our future Knights and showing them what LWC Football is all about. It's great to see we have such selfless, hard workers coming our way; that's what we are all about!"
