District 210 posts RFQ for Independent Inspector General

Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 is now accepting statements of qualification for the position of Independent Inspector General (IG). Qualifications will be accepted through April 20, 2017; a description of the position is available on the district’s website.

The purpose of the Independent Inspector General is to protect public integrity of the district’s various departments and the institution. The IG will serve as an additional system that ensures public employees and service providers are acting in the best interest of the district and community, and will be paid at an agreed-upon hourly rate.

The Independent Inspector General should:

1. Have a juris doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in Illinois school law, and/or federal, state, or local government experiences as an attorney or judge.
3. Have prior experience managing and completing complex investigations involving allegations of fraud, theft, deception, or conspiracy.
4. Not possess a personal or business relationship with any school board member.
