This program gives Lincoln-Way High Schools’ Early Childhood Education students an opportunity to work with children in a preschool environment under the full-time supervision of a Family and Consumer Sciences instructor.
A total of 16 children between the ages of three to five will be selected to attend a morning session for each of the locations. Children must be three years old by September 1, 2017, must be toilet trained, and must reside within the district to be eligible. Preschool will meet Wednesdays and Thursdays from October through January. The program continues on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from February through May.
Fees are $30.00 per month, or $240.00 per year. A nonrefundable deposit of $60.00 will be required of those selected into the program, and will be applied to the first two months of preschool.
