Wednesday, October 5, 2016

On October 3, 2016, Lincoln-Way District 210 began the process of strategic planning, facilitated by Dr. Robert J. Madonia. Dr. Madonia volunteered his services at no cost to the district during the board meeting on September 22, 2016.

Dr. Madonia provided a workshop to the members of the Board of Education to establish focus areas of study. The six focus areas were established as follows:

1. Finance
2. Building and Grounds
3. Community and Public Relations
4. Curriculum/Assessment/Outcomes
5. Human Resources
6. Technology

The next step in the strategic planning process is to formulate a survey, which will be available on the district website and will determine stakeholder input. Upon collection of the data, the Strategic Long Range Planning Committee will review the results in order to formulate goals and develop action plans to achieve the goals.

“We are confident that Dr. Madonia’s expertise will aid our board in the development and execution of long-range planning. We aim to evaluate six focus areas and we look forward to working with him through this process,” says Board of Education President, Dee Molinare.
