Lincoln-Way Seeks Volunteers for Prairie Relocation Project
Monday, May 18, 2015

Lincoln-Way High School District 210 is seeking student and community volunteers for a prairie re-location project at Lincoln-Way East. The work includes digging up plants and restoring them to their new location at Lincoln-Way East.

The prairie replanting days will be held Wednesday, May 20 through Friday, May 22 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to noon.

This is great opportunity for students to earn community service hours and for community members to get involved in an important conservation project, said Lincoln-Way East science teacher Julie Widinski.
