Hello Lincoln-Way Families-

After careful consideration, it has been decided that Lincoln-Way District 210 will remain in Remote Learning through January 15, 2021. We know this decision will come with mixed reviews from students, staff, and the larger community.

While school-based transmission rates are minimal, the number of students and staff members diagnosed with COVID-19, in addition to the number of individuals needing to quarantine due to close contact or COVID-like symptoms, has increased dramatically the last couple of weeks. Therefore, the number of teachers and students not able to attend in-person learning has impacted the continuity and consistency of our students’ education.

It is our belief and hope that this “adaptive pause” through January 15, 2021, will allow the community spread to subside and time for the community health metrics to improve in order to return to in-person learning on January 19th.

Here is the updated calendar:

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
