Lincoln-Way East Graduate Talks with Students About Nuclear EngineeringWednesday, January 8, 2020
Lincoln-Way East alumnus Gregory Ryba (’17) has spent the past three years pursuing a degree in Nuclear Engineering at the University of New Mexico. Since graduating from East, he’s interned at several of the top National Laboratories in the country.
Over his winter break, Greg headed back to Lincoln-Way East to talk to current Griffins about his experiences and the various paths students can take to become an Engineer. He explained the numerous branches of engineering and the different careers you can choose within Nuclear Engineering. He also discussed the wide variety of research and work being done at National Laboratories all over the country and shared information on the research he’s been able to help with.
Thank you Greg for taking time to speak with students and sharing your journey to become a Nuclear Engineer!
