Lincoln-Way Schools Participate in "Pennies for Patients"Tuesday, October 22, 2019
Lincoln-Way is once again joining 25,000 schools across the country and collecting change to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's "Pennies For Patients" program.
Over the past 10 years, Lincoln-Way has raised $184,694.81.
This cause is personal for Lincoln-Way East's Dr. Skarbek, whose daughter Abby was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 10. Now 18, Abby has been cancer free for seven years and is looking at colleges to attend next year.
All this week, bring your loose change, or even dollars, and support children with cancer! At East, for each classroom that raises over $100, Dr. Skarbek and his wife will contribute $10, up to 25 classes or $250.

*While donations are always accepted, Lincoln-Way West used all money raised during their Homecoming Olympics for this year's donation.*
