Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 has accepted the resignation of Peter Wilkes from the Board of Education effective August 30, 2019.
Mr. Wilkes submitted a letter of resignation to the Board’s secretary citing greater responsibilities within the Will County States Attorney’s Office.
“Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 is comprised of talented, competent, and conscientious people whose sole goal is to provide the best education to our students within the safest school environment possible,” he wrote. “The people in our community with children attending school in this district can easily rest knowing their children are receiving the highest quality of education in this state.”
We congratulate Mr. Wilkes for his promotion in the Will County States Attorney’s Office and thank him for his service to the Lincoln-Way 210 Board of Education.
