Lincoln-Way East Student Wins National Cup with Club Soccer Team

Lincoln-Way East senior Cory Pitlik and his club soccer team, the Eclipse Select ECNL ’02 Boys soccer team, took home the National Cup!

The National Cup Tournament, sponsored through U.S. Club Soccer Association, was held in Denver, Colorado from July 19-23.

The Eclipse team was one of eight teams that qualified to play in this nation-wide tournament by winning the Regional Cup earlier this summer in Waukegan.

Cory is also a four-year member of the Lincoln-Way East boys soccer team.
