Lincoln-Way Transition Spring Flower Sale
Thursday, April 25, 2019

Spring is finally here! Support the Lincoln-Way Transition Program by buying your annuals, vegetables, and potted plants at their annual flower sale Saturday, May 4th and 11th from 9 a.m.-noon at the Lincoln-Way Central greenhouse.

Students have been working on the planting, growing, and caring for the flowers since February. This annual sale benefits the Transition Program, which helps to prepare students with disabilities for meaningful work, independent living, and community participation after high school.

“Students truly enjoy working in the greenhouse, learning how to care for plants, and gaining employment skills, including working with others, following directions, self-advocacy, and completing required tasks in a given work period,” said Special Services Teacher Joshua Kreske.
