What an outstanding accomplishment the Air Force Junior ROTC Unarmed Drill Team did by taking an overall 1st place and the Armed Drill Team taking an overall 2nd place at the West Aurora High School Drill Competition on Saturday.

The following teams completely dominated the floor:

Winning 1st place award, and a team high score this year, is the Unarmed Inspection team commanded by Arick Hauschild.

2nd place finishers were the Armed Inspection team commanded by Danny Lewis, Unarmed Color Guard team commanded by Zosha Dauer and the Unarmed Regulation team commanded by Abigail Knippel.

Our 3rd place finishers were the Armed Color Guard and Armed Exhibition teams commanded by Jory Bell and the Armed Regulation team commanded by Chris Flynn

In Unarmed Knockout with over 350 participants, Abigail Knippel claimed 1st place and Emmitt Farmer came in 8 place, while in Armed Knockout Chris Flynn came in 6th place out of 250 participants.

Congratulations to all participating cadets who pushed their teams in the most competitive drill competition of the season. Good luck at Lewis University this weekend.
