Lincoln-Way East Science Department to host STEM night for future Griffins Tuesday, January 15, 2019
On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, the Lincoln-Way East Science Department will host their annual "Griffins Growing STEM" night from 4:45-6:45 p.m.
This event is for students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Admission is free, but donations of lightly used baby materials/baby books are appreciated.
Space for this event is limited to the first 120 students who RSVP via email by February 1 to Lincoln-Way East Department Chair Maria Wilson (firstname.lastname@example.org).
“Griffins Growing STEM” is sponsored by the East Science Department, National Honor Society, and Science Club, and teaches young students about biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, and environmental science. The Argonne exemplary student research program group will also be presenting in the faculty lounge.
Cookies and juice will be served after the classes. Parents are required to stay in the building as their child participates in the activities.
