The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) released today the Illinois Report Cards (IRC) for the 2017-2018 school year. All three Lincoln-Way high schools ranked among the top 10% in the state, all three earning summative ratings of Exemplary, the highest ranking ISBE offers.

The designations provide a public benchmark of each school’s progress toward the goal of preparing all students for success in college and career.

The Illinois Report Card shows a breakdown of data including academic performance, school environment, and student demographics.

Lincoln-Way students’ SAT scores were the highest in the Southwest Suburban Conference. And Lincoln-Way Central, East and West all scored among the top four schools in Will County.

Other key highlights on the IRC include a Graduation Rate of 97%, compared to the state’s 85%, and 95% of Freshman are on Track, compared to the state’s 86%.

“We’re very pleased with our results on the Illinois State Report Card,” said Dr. Scott Tingley, Superintendent. “Their findings show that Lincoln-Way 210 is putting students first, and we will continue to strive to improve. The state will continue to increase their expectations, and we need to make sure we stay on pace.”

Lincoln-Way District 210 continues to provide excellent educational opportunities for all students.
