Ticket sales begin for Lincoln-Way Foundation Summer FestFriday, May 4, 2018
On July 13, 2018, the Lincoln-Way Foundation for Educational Excellence will host their first annual Lincoln-Way Summer Fest. The event will run from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. at CD & ME in Frankfort, Illinois, and is open to adults age 21 and over.
“The idea for Summer Fest originated from our desire to get parents and the community involved in a more casual and fun way,” says Executive Director of the Lincoln-Way Foundation, Bob Kennedy. “Those who attend will get to enjoy two live band performances while socializing with other Lincoln-Way parents, alumni and community members. We are so excited for July!”
The rain or shine event will feature two live bands: “Then Again” and “Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band.” Food and refreshments will be available for purchase from both Gatto’s and Dancing Marlin.
There are three ways to purchase tickets:
• Tickets are currently live on Ticketmaster at https://www.ticketmaster.com/CD-ME-Special-Events-tickets-Frankfort/venue/33154.
• CD & ME will open box office ticket sales at 4:30 p.m. today, May 4, 2018.
• Tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, May 11 at the main offices of Lincoln-Way Central, Lincoln-Way East and Lincoln-Way West.
“This is going to be a laid back summer night where guests can enjoy the atmosphere and live music from these two bands. Considering the talent of the entertainment and the venue, we’re excited to be able to offer tickets for only $30 a piece,” says Kennedy. Pending availability, tickets may also be available at the door for $35.
Limited quantities of table reservations, sponsorships and areas for class reunions are also available. To reserve tables or secure sponsorship, those interested should contact Bob Kennedy via email at Robert.Kennedy@lw210.org, or via phone at 815-462-2976; those interested in a class reunion should contact Beth Ryan (BethRyan2335@gmail.com).
“We’re thankful to our sponsors, Old Second Bank, Coopers Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Kiwanis Club of Frankfort, and Glatz Management Services, Inc., who have already partnered with us for this first-time event,” says Kennedy. “Summer Fest is a great opportunity for those who want to advertise their business, for parents who want to support their students and for those who simply want to listen to live music on a summer night…It’s a great way for anyone and everyone to support our students while enjoying a night out.”
