Monday, October 2, 2017

On Saturday, October 28, Lincoln-Way Central will host a Halloween Knight for children ages 11 and under from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Children are invited to trick-or-treat inside Lincoln-Way Central to share in the Halloween spirit. Admittance is free, however, one canned good per child is requested to be donated upon entry for the New Lenox Food Pantry.

"Clubs, sports, and departments have a blast decorating the school and dressing up for the children of the community. Children ages 11 and under are able to come into our building and share in the Halloween spirit rain or shine,” says Sara Gorniak Lincoln-Way Central Special Services.

“Not only is this a great opportunity for our students and elementary age students, but we are able to collect hundreds of canned food for the local food pantry."

Fun fair tickets may be purchased at the end of the trick-or-treat route, where children may have their face painted, play numerous games, and win Halloween prizes.

Tickets for the fun fair games and activities will be on sale for $1.00 a ticket or $5.00 for 6 tickets. This will be a cash only event.
