Lincoln-Way East Presents "Orchesis: Number 1 Hits"

The Lincoln Way East Orchesis dance club will perform "Orchesis: Number 1 Hits" on January 24-25. This year’s dance performance is a compilation of different styles of choreography designed as a tribute to your favorite movie songs from the 60's, 70's, 80's and today. The dancers will perform all styles of dance from hip hop to ballet. Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25 in the Lincoln Way East Fine Arts Center. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

The Scholastic Art Show is the most recognized and prestigious high school art exhibition in the nation. The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards have an impressive legacy dating back to 1923, and a noteworthy roster of past winners including Andy Warhol, Sylvia Plath, Truman Capote, Richard Avedon, Robert Redford, and Joyce Carol Oates.
