AP numbers soar at Lincoln-Way

On Thursday, August 2, 2018, the District 210 Board of Education met at Lincoln-Way Central for the regularly scheduled board meeting. At the start of the meeting Director of Data, Assessment and Innovation, Dr. Brian Murphy, presented the results of AP testing from the 2017-2018 school year.

Lincoln-Way East student attends intensive summer engineering program

From June 17 through July 19, 2018, Griffin senior Camryn Shirley attended the Multiethnic Introduction to Engineering (MITE) Program at Purdue University’s main campus in West Lafayette, Indiana. Shirley learned of the program through her older brother who previously attended MITE in 2016. This year’s summer program hosted 20 students for nearly five weeks.

Lincoln-Way Marching Band gears up for a special visitor/big weekend

From Thursday, August 23 until Saturday, August 25, the Lincoln-Way Marching Band (LWMB) will be on a tight schedule. Each year, the Tournament of Roses® President travels to meet every band selected to perform in the Rose Parade®; in August, the LWMB will have their turn. Gerald Freeny, President of the 2019 Tournament of Roses, and his wife Trina, will arrive to meet with Band Directors, musicians and members of the Lincoln-Way area.
