Lincoln-Way students participate in Voice of Democracy essay contest

Lincoln-Way West and Lincoln-Way Central students participated in the “Voice of Democracy” annual essay contest, which is promoted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). This year, the contest asked students to write about American History: Our Hope for the Future. Together students from Lincoln-Way Central and students from Lincoln-Way West submitted almost 300 essays.

Lincoln-Way East Classes Donate to Lullaby Birthplace through St. James Hospital

On Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Lincoln-Way East’s Medical Anatomy and Physiology classes donated items for Lullaby Birthplace through Franciscan St. James Hospital. This program's purpose is to provide goods to new mothers in the area. The classes collected over a hundred items for this cause that included blankets, clothing, toys, and books.

Lincoln-Way East students donate over 3,000 items in Silver Turkey Food Drive

Lincoln-Way East High School Student Council hosted a Silver Turkey Food Drive during all first hour classes this November. Proceeds collected benefited the Frankfort Township Food Pantry. In total, 3,300 items were donated as well as $350.00 in cash.
